Results 

With an emotional speech Mr. Pichler, Secretary- General of SOS Children's Villages International, officially opened the conference "Quality in alternative care". As a person who lived in alternative care, he knows how important it is to address the topic. This was emphasized by the following speech of three young people who have grown up in alternative care, too. Their request was very clear: "Listen to us, talk to us and take our views seriously!"

Young people contributed to the conference in many ways: as facilitators, presenters and as co-editors of a daily conference newspaper.
